| Making a purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store,
and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart.
After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and
you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to
complete the order.
Payments are taken at the time of order. We do not
at any time have access to your bank or card details. All payments
are processed through the WorldPay secure payments system to ensure
the highest standards of security for our customers.
Your order will be acknowledged upon receipt. We
will then check the content, if there are any problems we will
e-mail you within 3 working days.
If we are unable to despatch your order due to stock
shortages within 5 working days we will e-mail you to offer suitable
substitutes of an equal or higher value.
Post & Packaging
We send orders by Royal Mail using the First Class Recorded Signed
For service which means that a signature is required upon receipt
of the goods. Please ensure that delivery is to an address where
someone is available to sign for the parcel, failing which a card
will be left notifying you of a failed delivery and your delivery
will be taken back to your local sorting office to wait for your
collection. The card posted through your letter box will inform
you where your order is being held.
Your local sorting office will hold deliveries
for 4-5 working days and after this period they will return any
uncollected deliveries to Lime Tree Larder. Lime Tree Larder cannot
be held responsible because of a failed collection. No refund
is possible in these circumstances due to the unknown temperatures
and conditions of postal sorting offices that may possibly affect
your order
If you select to have your chocolates delivered to a work address,
Lime Tree Larder shall be deemed to have successfully delivered
your order to its intended recipient by delivering it to the reception
area at the business address and receiving a signed receipt of
delivery from a duly authorised representative at that address.
We are unable to accept orders for delivery to
an address containing a PO Box number.
Every order requires a full valid post code. We
will not send any orders without one. If you provide an incorrect
address, including the postcode, we do not accept any responsibility
for a failure of an order to arrive.
Post & packaging charges are calculated on the
weight of the order. Please note we charge for a minimum of 300g
weight for shipping purposes.
Delivery Schedule
We strive to despatch orders the same day if they are received
before 0930 (Monday to Thursday) although this is not always possible.
Orders may take up to 5 days to be despatched.
Please note that any orders received on a Friday
will not be sent out until the following Monday to avoid your
chocolates sitting in a sorting office over the weekend.
In hot or extremely cold weather, we reserve the
right to delay your order until the weather has moderated. In
extreme situations this can delay orders for several days.
For urgent orders we will contact you for authority
to send despite prevailing weather conditions. If you authorise
such despatch we cannot accept any liability for damage or loss.
Damage & Tracing Parcels
In the event that your chocolate is damaged in transit please
contact us within 24 hours of receipt. Products should be checked
before being signed for. If the exterior packaging or the products
are found to be damaged you must then sign "checked and found
to be damaged". If you fail to do this we may not be able
to offer a refund.
If products sent by Royal Mail are not delivered
please contact us for details of the tracking and tracing procedure.
If orders are considered by us to be lost in transit after a reasonable
period time has elapsed we shall at our discretion either refund
or resend the order.
We cannot accept responsibility for any damage
in transit to perishable products due to heat or atmospheric conditions
beyond our control.

Returns Policy
If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with any product
that you have purchased from us, you may return it to us, at your
expense, within 7 days from the date of despatch.
Provided it is returned in its original packaging and the product
has not been consumed, other than is reasonable to establish the
quality of the product you are not happy with, we will refund
the entire purchase price including the cost of postage.
If your returned chocolate is damaged, not in the
original packaging or consumed more than was reasonable to establish
the quality of product, we reserve the right to impose a charge
to cover that loss.
Your rights to return goods are protected under
the EU Distance Selling Directive.
